Clean room, charming facility with beautifully landscaped grounds. Convenient to local attractions.. I would definately stay here again.

  • Older travelers

Position amazing- they could have done so much from this site

What a shame about the noisy air conditioner! It was like having someone intermittently vacuum the room every 5 minutes with the conditioner cutting in and out. It was too hot to leave off. We asked the staff the next day on several occasions with no effective solution/alternative offered. Ours was to buy ear plugs which partly helped. The worst 2 nights sleep in a months road trip. Very cheep hotel- more of a motel really. Extremely cheep construction. The sunset views amazing disturbed by other residents rowdy alcohol related behaviour ('happy hour') We think your reports were misleading on this one.

  • Older travelers

The views were awesome and staff was friendly. While a dated facility, it was clean and neat. I would stay there again and plan on doing so.

  • Single

This is the most beautiful location of all of the places I've stayed the world. They built a viewing balcony for sunrises sunsets. You can't beat the price and location. Visiting artists stay here. Eat your breakfast (that you bought) in the cactus garden or the lily pad water garden and then go on the pick jeep tour to broken arrow. Have the time of your life.

  • Group of friends

The grounds are beautifully kept and lovely and the pool and hot tub are quite nice. The view from our room's balcony was gorgeous, and we appreciated the upgrade. The young man at the desk on the afternoon when we first arrived (his name was Baron) was friendly and efficient. Being located just a little out of town was great--a chance to get away from the touristy atmosphere of Main Street, Sedona.

The deck outside our room had not been swept; there were pistachio shells scattered about where the last guest had evidently been snacking. The tv reception was very poor. As friendly and helpful as Baron was during his shift on the desk, other people working during other days were somewhat dull and disengaged. We asked, for example, about hikes, and got the answer: "I dunno, I don't hike." My feeling is that anyone working reception in/around Sedona should be better prepared to help visitors enjoy the area.

The view/ sunset from the patio.

  • Older travelers

Located on a mesa 500 feet above the city, srl provided beautiful views of Sedona, especially at sunrise and sunset. The patio bar was such a nice touch. The grounds were immaculate and relaxing. The pool and spa were great. If srl was around after God finished creation, that's where he would have chose to rest.

Once the restaraunt opens in Sept/Oct, there will be nothing to complain about.

  • Couple

I've stayed several times here over the years. The hotel is isolated from the main city, while very close. The silence and peace at night are wonderful. The facilities are immaculate, the staff welcoming, and for what you get, it's almost a bargain.

Hotel definitely needs new mattresses. Would be nice if breakfast were included. The air conditioners must be quieter! Sounds like a jet plane from the Sedona airport taking off in your room.

  • Older travelers

The location, atop Airport Mesa, is amazing. Beautiful views of Sedona. We got up to photograph the sunrise and it was beyond words.

The decor is extremely dated - think 1950s - but the rooms were very clean and the AC unit was brand new. Bed could have been more comfortable. All in all though, rate and location made up for decor, especially if just staying one night.

  • Family with children

This is a wonderfully peaceful place away from the touristy main highways in Sedona. Next to the small, quiet airport, there is a patio/overlook with a quiet stunning view over Route 89A West/South. There are chairs outside the rooms in which to enjoy the fresh air in the shade. We saw lots of rabbits, quail and lizards. The pool was well-maintained. We will recommend to any friends visiting Sedona!

Front desk staff were inconsistent. One man was incredibly helpful; one woman seemed a bit bothered by my questions. But on the whole, the staff are very responsive and knowledgeable.

  • Older travelers

Nice quiet place, the view is spectacular, clean, and the staff is very friendly.would stay there again.

The decor is very outdated, not even a flat screen tv. In serious need of a re model.

  • Older travelers

Very comfortable setting around the lodge. Views are spectacular.

Would have liked an exercise room on property.

  • Older travelers

The facility was very clean and the grounds were beautiful, both peaceful and serene..wonderful location..

  • Group of friends

The sunset views are worth a million dollars! Best value for the money

  • Older travelers

What a find this place is! At the top of a hill with only the tiny Sedona Airport as neighbour, it's totally quiet, beautifully landscaped, with spectacular views across the valley. Our room was large and well equipped (new tv, fridge, microwave, fireplace), with a lovely balcony overlooking nice gardens. Location is perfect for hiking any of the many Sedona trails. Staff was great. Nice winebar. And dead cheap. We're coming back next spring.

    It's ideal--perfect.
